TESTIMONIALS
This is a must-do experience! This is the orientation you wish you'd get on your campus, led by experienced, knowledgeable leaders in PT and academia. I left with a ton of Monday-morning pearls, and a treasure trove of resources. I highly recommend this course to any new PT or PTA faculty!
Every session kept me engaged and I loved the group interaction. It was also wonderful to listen to the other new faculty members talk about their issues as I realized that I wasn't alone!
The sessions on developing a scholarly agenda and systematic effective instruction are areas that PTs who come from clinic to classroom can really sink their teeth into and get better footing on this new journey.
This workshop solidified my love for my new role in academia. It's easy to feel overwhelmed when you're a novice, but the presenters provided warmth and compassion that will definitely play a part in harvesting my growth!
